Monika Grycko starts from the Northern European artistic tradition, from the late-Gothic expressionist to the Flemish painting of Bosch, Cranach and Bruegel. Without forgetting the Egyptian statues that return in the style of his sculptures and the contemporary suggestions of artists such as Barney or the fantastic vision of David Linch, especially as regards the dreamlike situations linked to the fears of real life.
