Over the years, the evocative images of Albert Watson appear in more than 100 Vogue covers from around the world and in countless other prestigious magazines, such as Rolling Stone , Time or Vibe , mostly photographic portraits of rock stars, rappers, actors and other celebrities.
Watson is also involved in personal projects and in the realization of
beautiful images taken from his countless trips, to Marrakech, to Las
Vegas and up to the Orkney Islands in the North Sea.
He received numerous awards, including the Lucie Award, the Grammy Award, three
Andys, the Centenary Medal, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Royal Photographic Society.
His photographs are also part of the permanent collection of the
National Portrait Gallery of London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New
York. His way of illuminating subjects, especially fetish objects and portraits, creates an intimate atmosphere of meditation around the photo.
