Package printed in color screenprint, made by the artist and signed “Andy”.
The first production of “brillo” soap tablets was made by Warhol in 1964, first in white and then in yellow.
The conventional “brillo boxes” by Andy Warhol, exhibited in 1964 at the Stable Gallery in New York, have raised questions about our preconstituted ideas of “art”.
