Pantheon, 2020
Description
The ‘Pantheon’ is part of the ‘Roma’ architecture series. They are the result of research in relation to the past, present and different cultures. These include the Greco-Roman culture, the culture of the peoples of Asia Minor and the Mediterranean Sea area. Ancient art and myth represent for the artist a certainty for the present and the future. The front of ‘Pantheon’ is represented through a graphic decomposition, suggesting a more existential symbolic reinterpretation. The Ancient as a classic, as an immutable value to be anchored to, in contrast to the fluidity of the present. An ancient reinterpreted in the contemporary lines of a new perspective.
