The artist inspired by the masters of Pop Art reinterprets icons and symbols of our time in an ironic and contemporary key.
Overblown banknotes and credit cards that want to smile at the consumer society system, and in the obsessive logic of making money.
Apparently simple but extremely effective and communicable works investigate the contemporary consumer society, dominated by power, appearances and ostentation.
Always endowed with a strong charge of irony, binding indissolubly to comics and using the iconographic sources of the precursors of american Pop Art, Bettini will use Donald Duck and superheroes, to invent a new way of “contaminating” money.
